Exposure Response Prevention Intensive Program

Approaches & Modalities

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is an evidence-based therapy for OCD and anxiety that helps you build tolerance for discomfort and reduce reliance on compulsions. Instead of trying to eliminate anxiety, ERP focuses on changing your response to it—helping you engage with life more freely. How It Works: Through gradual, guided exposure to fears while resisting compulsive behaviors, ERP helps you learn that anxiety is temporary and manageable. Over time, this process retrains your brain, reducing distress and increasing flexibility in how you respond to uncertainty. What to Expect: In sessions, we’ll identify triggers and work together to approach them at a manageable pace. While discomfort is a natural part of the process, you’ll be supported in developing new ways to relate to it, fostering resilience and a greater sense of control over your choices.
